Ms. Atika Ahab, from Bandung Institute of Technology, worked on the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles with Professors Clint Harper and Geoff Dougherty. They developed a technique to produce gadolinium oxide nanoparticles by pulsed laser ablation. the work was included in Ms. Ahab's doctoral thesis, and has been published in an international journal
