Fullbright Senior Scholar

Professor Geoff Dougherty will travel to Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia for a 6-month sabbatical. He will collaborate with Professor Jim Pope and colleagues on several projects, including the development of a global fiber-alignment metric to characterize articular cartilage in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis, and the application of texture methods for assesing bone quality from MRI and CT images in the early stages of osteoporosis.

He will also give various seminars and several guest lectures in digital imaging.
