Biomedical Imaging Class Trip

Prof. Geoff Dougherty took his Biol/Phys/Hlth 434 Introduction to Biomedical Imaging class to the Radiology Department of Kaiser, Woodland Hills to see the different clinical imaging modalities on 22nd October. They observed plain-film radiography, CR, fluoroscopy, x-ray CT, nuclear medicine, MRI and CT/PET. They were shown around by Tom O’Grady, a nuclear medicine technologist who graduated from the medical imaging emphasis at CSUCI in 2004, went to Drew University for 12 months, and then passed his Board examination.
